1.6m tune in to see Julia Morris named Celebrity Apprentice winner
One of the final blockbuster ratings nights of the year went Nine’s way with the winner announcement of The Celebrity Apprentice pulling in just over 1.617m viewers.
It narrowly beat The X Factor on Seven, which reaches its own climax this evening, and rated 1.458m last night. The X Factor’s big guests included Kylie Minogue, The Fray and Salt n Pepa.
Ratings for Celebrity Apprentice were coded as three separate shows with the other two parts averaging 1.312 and 1.067m accoridng to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam. Ratings for The X Factor may change slightly later today because the show overran its timeslot.
The premiere of Kyle and Jackie O’s Night With The Stars, which followed The X Factor, rated just 560,000 viewers, 20th for the night. In its timeslot, it lost to Nine’s The Mentalist, which rated 792,000, 13th for the night.
Ten had a poor night. Junior Masterchef was its best performer which rated 675,000, 14th for the night.
Despite Nine’s good showing with The Celebrity Apprentice and The Mentalist, Seven still won the daily share with 25.6% over Nine’s 24.1%.

The Kyle and jacki o show was an embarrassment for all concerned. I was a listener to their show but my problem is they can’t hide their in adequacies on TV. They are actually not talented and their producers clearly run their radio show.
It was a big risk putting their radio show on TV and unfortunately it blew up in their faces. You’ve lost a listener by visualizing the unfunny, awkward and bottom feeder humor that is dribbled out every day.

I’m missing Deni, Pauline and Jason all ready.

Turn off the television people. Go outdoors. Call a friend. Read a book. Play Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony while you do any all of these things.

The ads they presented on celeb apprentice were actually better than 90% of what’s on TV made by the pros. Contrived and clicheed messaging, but at least a trace of an idea in the execution

Wow, Julia seems to win every reality TV show she appears on. This must be her seventh or eighth win now. I say, “C’mon Julia, give other washed-up D-graders a chance!”

I lasted all of 5 minutes on the Kyle Show before switching to Housos. 🙂

I turned over to see Kyle & Jacki O interviewing Kendra. Why the f*** would anyone want to watch that? (especially in that timeslot).

Can’t believe Junior Masterchef is rating so poorly. It’s been hugely entertaining.
Likewise I can’t believe Celebrity Apprentice has done so well.
Deni’s a bad person, it’s terrible that Julia Morris has played the race card.
