2m tune in for Seven’s Ben Cousins doco

Seven’s documentary Such Is Life on fallen AFL star Ben Cousins was the top rating show for Wednesday and indeed the week to date, pulling in an average audience of 1.996m.

The show, which has a second part tonight, was one of four Seven programs in the top four slots for the night.

Seven News reached 1.562m, Today Tonight 1.486m and World’s Strictest Parents 1.404m, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

The ABC’s Gruen Transfer was next with 1.358, down slightly on the Gruen Nation election specials. The Chaser’s Yes We Canberra rated 1.189m.

Nine’s top rating show for the night was Nine news with 1.342m, while Ten had a poor night. Its best performer was The 7PM project, 17th for the night with 951,000.

For Nine, The Farmer wants A Wife dropped out of the top 15, 16th with 1.020m
