This creative agency is a tier two supplier
Interesting how the procurement world likes to put agencies into categories.
Here’s a slide that was put up by management consultancy AT Kearney at procurement conference CIPSA Category Week this week.
Dr Mumbo is not sure that Droga5, winner of the global Qantas pitch, will be feel justified in being referred to as a ‘tier 2’ supplier suited to mid-size projects to “drive maximum value”.
Here’s hoping that AT Kearney are using this model as a subtle ‘framing’ device to ‘nudge’ their clients towards category 2. The conversation is likely to be better in that bucket 😉
Certainly the ‘BTL’ category has some strange bedfellows, Hubspot and CHE seem to have little in common on the surface of it.
