ABC Commercial retail head Alun Noll departs

Australian Broadcasting Corporation retail boss Alun Noll has resigned from the role, effective by the end of the year. A spokesperson from the ABC told Mumbrella in a brief statement: “He has resigned and we do not know where he is going.”

Noll had been with the ABC for almost four years, during which time he had been responsible for heading up ABC Retail and the ABC shops retail chain.

This is the latest senior move within ABC Commercial, the ABC’s profit making arm, after former ABC Commercial director Lynley Marshall moved to ABC International in June.

Marshall replaced long serving director Murray Green who retired in March.

There are no immediate plans to replace Noll. Regina Hoekstra will be taking over Noll’s role on a temporary basis until June 2013.
