Account wins for Klick Communications, Hill + Knowlton Strategies Australia and Agent99 PR

Here’s a wrap of some of the latest PR account wins:

Klick CommunicationsKlick Communications has been tapped by Positively Wellington Tourism to manage its visitor communications activity in Australia.

The organisation’s chief executive David Perks said in a statement: “The best partnerships are where an agency feels like a genuine extension of your team and Klick’s culture and attitude is a natural fit for Wellington.”

Klick Communications director Kim McKay added: “The Positively Wellington Tourism brief resonated beautifully with Klick, our approach and core values. PWT have entrusted and challenged us to get more Aussies travelling trans-Tasman. It’s an exciting scope of Klick Communications will offer a collective commitment to bringing Wellington fresh insight-led strategies that combine digital and traditional communications and solutions.”

Hill + KnowltonHill + Knowlton Strategies Australia will lead Turismo Chile’s PR efforts in Australia.

H+K managing director Penelope Hollowaysaid in a statement: “From a personal point of view, not only is Chile a stunningly beautiful country with a rich and varied culture, myself and everyone at H+K really feel all Australians need to know just how much it has to offer as a holiday and travel destination. So the plan is to get a whole lot more Aussies over there to see for themselves. Building that awareness and then converting that consideration is something we’re all truly excited about.”

Turismo Chile’s long haul markets manager Pablo Javier Retamal added: ““Hill+Knowlton have long been successful in the travel and tourism sector, and have a great reputation in Australia. And after the way H+K successfully handled our recent Chile Roadshow, I was impressed by their integrated approach to marketing communications and travel trade engagement alongside the traditional PR nous.”

Agent99Agent99 Public Relations has signed Business Blueprint, a business education company, to help them with the launch of what they claim to be the world’s first 24-hour small business channel on September 1 at 7pm.
