Ad wrap: Compare the Market does Christmas; plus ING Direct, Nimble, Bulla and Woolworths

Here’s a roundup of a few of the new ads you might have noticed on TV recently.

Compare the Market‘s meerkats Aleksandr and Sergei are getting into the Christmas spirit and attempting to take holiday photo with baby Oleg. VCCP Australia is Compare the Market’s creative agency of record.

ING Direct is back with new spot featuring Isla Fisher. The spot sees Fisher briefed by the director that ING wants to communicate it has more to offer customers than just an online savings account. Nimble is celebrating Christmas with a spot which sees the “mighty ferret of Christmas” decorate a tree fast.

A series of other spots sees the Nimble rabbit show how to do a whole heap of other things including pack a suitcase; fight off ninjas; do a magic trick; clean the house; and melt somebody’s heart fast. McCann is Nimble’s creative agency of record.

Bulla Dairy Foods is celebrating its history, and the people who bring its products to life, in its new campaign Unfakeable. It is the first work from Publicis Mojo which won the account in October. The ad was filmed in Bulla’s hometown Colac, Victoria.

Bulla general manager marketing and innovation Nick Hickford said in a statement: “Publicis Mojo hit the ground running and has become a passionate partner for Bulla. We are really pleased with the creative work and are anticipating great results.

“Unfakeable is an opportunity for us to shine a light on the legacy our brand has created in the market. You can’t fake 105 years of quality, taste and tradition. You can’t fake what we have.”

The Publicis Mojo work is led by 30 and 15-second TVCs, supported by outdoor, online and national print.

Woolworths is pushing its online shopping offering in the lead-up to Christmas. The spot sees a mother and her children happy when the Woolworths truck arrives as it means they can make the Christmas biscuits. Leo Burnett Sydney is Woolworths creative agency of record.
