Radio Ratings: Mix102.3FM holds onto No 1 ranking in Adelaide as it pulls ahead of rival Nova

The Australian Radio Network’s (ARN) Mix102.3 has continued to hold onto its ratings crown in Adelaide, with a Monday to Sunday total audience share of 15.1 per cent, up by 1.7 share points, according to figures published today from Gfk.

The station saw its audience increase across every time slot, with the Fun Breakfast with Jodie, Mark and Snowy also holding onto its FM breakfast number one ranking with a share of 15.6 per cent up 2.12 share points.

Its closest FM rival Nova Entertainment Group’s Nova91.9 breakfast with Dylan Lewis and Shane Lowe sitting on a share of 11.7 per cent, an increase of 0.6 share points from the last ratings period.

Nova’s Monday to Sunday audience share increased by 0.4 share points to a share of 12 per cent, tying for third in the overall Adelaide rankings with ABC891 which experienced an audience decline of 1.7 share points.

However, ABC891’s breakfast with Matthew Abraham and David Bevan was both the AM and the overall breakfast winner with a share of 17.4 per cent down by 1.7 share points from the last ratings period.

It beat Fiveaa whose breakfast team of David Penberthy, Mark Aiston & Jane Reilly had an audience share of 14.2 per cent, a decline of 2.3 share points.

Triple M’s Hot Breakfast with Blakey, Nick & Louie maintained its share of 6 per cent.

Nova’s syndicated drive program with Kate, Tim & Marty won the timeslot with its audience growing by 0.1 share points to a 15.3 per cent share.

Mix102.3′s drive show Driving You Home with Sean Craig Murphy was the second favourite drive program in Adelaide increasing its share by 1 share point to 12.7 per cent.

Triple M’s drive team of Matt Tilley and Joe Hildebrand delivered an audience share of 9.6 per cent, up by 1.2 share points from the last ratings period while SAFM’s national drive team of Dan Debuf and Maz Compton experienced an audience decline of 0.4 share points to an audience share of 8.7 per cent.

ABC891’s drive program’s audience also declined by 1.1 share points to a share of 9.5 per cent.

In the evening slot from 7pm until midnight Fiveaa continues to edge in on the ABC’s share with an audience share of 14.5 per cent behind ABC891′s 15.1 per cent. Nova’s evening programming of national Smallzy’s Surgery (7pm – 10pm) and  Ben Wood (1opm – 1am) was the most listened to on the FM channels, with an audience share of 14.1 per cent.
