ADMA hires Craig Wallis for Victoria role

ADMA has hired Craig Wallis to run the association in Victoria.

The release:

Melbourne, 2 September 2015 – The Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) has appointed Craig Wallis, a Melbourne-based data-driven marketing specialist, to promote its agenda in Victoria.

As ADMA’s Members and Partners Manager in Melbourne, Craig will be responsible for increasing the association’s growth into new sectors and regions. He will oversee membership, education, sponsorship and partnerships in Victoria and report to Richard Harris, ADMA’s Commercial Director.

“Hiring Craig is a strategic step to increase our presence in Victoria,” said Jodie Sangster, ADMA CEO. “Many companies are now coming to us because they find our data-driven mandate has made us more relevant to them and our membership is increasing as a result.

“We have offered membership services, events and education programs in Melbourne for many years but we now need someone on the ground who can liaise with current members and meet their needs, bring in more new members and really develop the business for us in Victoria. From there, we will look to move into the other states to support our growth.”

A passionate data-driven marketing specialist, CRM practitioner, marketing educator and solution provider for 28 years, Craig has provided marketing solutions and insights for B2C and B2B businesses in Australasia, working with retail, automotive, telco, utility, banking, corporate and government organisations to develop, manage and support effective marketing solutions.

In addition to his impressive credentials as a data-driven marketing specialist, Craig has been effectively and actively championing ADMA in a volunteer capacity for 10 years, including most recently as a National Board Director and Chair of the Victorian Branch Committee.

Craig works to engage the Victoria marketing community through various channels to promote and develop data-driven marketing and to support the core pillars that ADMA offers to the wider advertising and marketing community.

“I’m really delighted to be ADMA’s man on the ground in Victoria. The association has achieved great success in the last four years and is truly Australia’s peak data-driven marketing and advertising body.

I respect the strategic direction undertaken by ADMA CEO Jodie Sangster, whose philosophies mirror my own. Its growth, its new mandate to reach out to the marketing, media and advertising sectors and to focus on customer experience is the right direction. I look forward to helping ADMA further develop its offerings in Victoria,” he said.
