AdNews promotes Danielle Long to editor
AdNews has promoted news editor Danielle Long to the role of editor following the resignation of Matt Porter.
Long returned to Australia earlier this year and most recently worked as news editor for Centaur Media’s digital title, New Media Age, in London.
Prior to the UK, she worked as a journalist for AdNews, the Yaffa Publishing-owned advertising, marketing and media trade title.
Porter is due to depart from his role on May 21. He’s leaving to start a career in PR with M&C Saatchi among his first clients.
Long has also previously worked at Haymarket Media in the UK on advertising title Campaign and Revolution.
Yaffa was unavailable for comment at the time this story was posted.
Tim Burrowes founded Mumbrella in 2008. He worked on Mumbrella until 2021. At various points he was editor, content director and editor-at-large.
