Jack Thompson, Angus Sampson, Zoe Carides and Anna Hutchison star alongside Ackland.

Wow, you really should stop running press releases from these guys. They don’t even have a distributor and they say they’re opening in January of all times…… ’nuff said. Embarrassing.

It’s a shame that an aussie production about AFL had to be taken offshore to get finished when our local film post industry is struggling with the high aussie dollar.
Why on earth would the producers think that an american sound crew (who don’t even know what AFL is!) would do a better job than a sound post team in Melbourne?
Such a shame, such a missed opportunity and a bit of a disgrace if you ask me. In a perfect world it would be nice if film was considered a collaborative artform as much as it is considered a business.

In response to Brent – part of the film is set in the US. That’s why they went there. Not for any other reason than they wanted Boston to be Boston, not Melbourne posing as Boston.
