Agent99 PR appointed to ForgetDinner.com.au

Public Relations firm Agent99 Public Relations has been appointed to head the account for dating site ForgetDinner.com.au.

The announcement:

Independent agency Agent99 Public Relations has been selected to launch the revolutionary casual dating site ForgetDinner.com.au, the first to hit our shores for people who don’t have any intention to get married.

Originally launched in the UK in 2007, the dating giant was born from the realization that nearly every dating site on the market professed to find the love of their life for its members. Unapologetically proud to have never been responsible for a single wedding, the site has grown to be the UK’s leading casual dating destination with millions of members having joined from all over the world.

Following a six way competitive pitch, ForgetDinner Spokesperson Howard James says, “Agent99 PR had the winning presentation as we felt that our mission aligned with that of the agency from the onset. We were unreservedly impressed with the creative ideas they brought to the table and their understanding of the brand.”

Since Agent99’s campaign launch of the brand in Australia, which has included a mix of research based, traditional and online PR methods, the site has experienced record interest with thousands of people signed up to the site already.

Sharon Zeev Poole, Director of Agent99 PR says, “We are so excited to be promoting a brand founded on such an original and revolutionary concept. ForgetDinner separates the romantics from the fun seekers, and makes the ‘rules of engagement’ clear from the outset. It’s something the online dating market has needed for a long time and launching the brand has been a very exciting challenge.”
