Air New Zealand welcomes start of ski season

Air New Zealand has launched an out of home campaign in the form of a photographic exhibition to welcome the start of the ski season in New Zealand.

Created by Host and The Jamboree, the campaign uses images from snow sport photographers Tony Harrington, Camilla Stoddart and Dan Himbrechts. In the style of an exhibition, would-be holiday makers can listen to the audio guide and take home a printed catalogue.

The campaign is focused on Sydney’s Martin Place station; a follow-up campaign is planned for Melbourne.

Kelly Millier, Air New Zealand marketing manager noted: “Australians love the easy access to New Zealand and skiing is seen as one of the most appealing sporting activities to do there.  With the strong Aussie dollar and Air New Zealand’s daily services to the ski fields, there has never been a better time to go. We briefed Host to communicate the New Zealand Winter experience in an unexpected and engaging way. The natural beauty of this series tells a thousand words.”

The campaign will run until June 19.
