Albo interviews himself
Dr Mumbo congratulates Deputy Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on his appointment as communications minister following the departure to backbench obscurity of Stephen Conroy.
With a federal election in the offing Dr Mumbo looks to interviewing Albo at some point. Although if yesterday’s episode of Insiders is anything to go by the minister is pretty adept at interviewing himself…
And he seems a fair bit more affable than his predecessor too.
Now that DPM “Albo” is communications minister, will that mean we have to stop using the internet at 11 pm to avoid upsetting people in Grayndler?

thanks goodness someone with more than half a brain will have responsibility for promoting and overseeing the NBN. It will be the making of Australia’s jobs future if it survives the election.
When Malcolm Turnbull finally takes over from the Mad Monk, as surely he must, then some bipartisan sanity may well prevail.
If Malcolm would come to my place and see what I have to put up with in regard to seriously compromised local phone line and wireless bandwidth in Narre Warren, he would start to support the NBN, rather than run it down in a vain attempt to prop up Abbott’s ‘oppose at all costs’ attitude to this overdue upgrade to our communications technology.
Wake up Liberals!

@Mike the best part about Turnbull’s support of the Coalition FTN policy is that he himself owns shares in a FTN provider in France.

Happy days! Australia once again has a real shot at a broadband network that will see us well into the future. I just don’t understand why Turnbull can’t see that his vision of the NBN is so short-sighted.
