An undignified silence

An undignified silence Nice to know that the meaning behind Remembrance Day hasn’t been forgotten.

ABC Triple J newsreader Lucy Carter has just tweeted: “I’m tempted to play the one minute of silence in full today. That’s like….1/3 of my bulletin done! #excellentideasthatwouldgetmefired”

At least those who died, helped to make a Sydney newsreader’s job slightly easier.

    Shame on her.

People may think Twitter may be fleeting – but public broadcast lives forever , dear oh dear – see http://twitter.com/#search?q=lucethoughts

  6. i say shame on the writer of this piece who’s clearly angling for internet traffic.

flippant remark sure, but does it require this level of scrutiny?
