Analytic Partners sets up new quarters in Sydney and appoints Clare Fernando as VP

Consultancy Analytic Partners has opened a Sydney office and appointed Clare Fernando to run it.

Leading international marketing analytics consultancy opens new office in Sydney to better serve Australian clients and nurture local talent

SYDNEY, 11 September 2012 – Analytic Partners, one of Asia Pacific’s leading marketing analytics consultancies, has appointed Clare Fernando as Vice President, Australia and New Zealand. Clare will be based in the Analytic Partners’ newly opened Sydney office. Her initial remit will be to establish a strong physical presence for Analytic Partners and drive growth by providing marketing analytics solutions to a market where companies are increasingly focused on bringing more accountability to marketing spending, particularly in the area of social media.

Clare joins Analytic Partners from her previous position as Managing Director of Media brands Analytics Australia with more than 16 years of experience in research and analytics both on the client and agency side. Clare has experience working with clients in a broad range of industries including banking and finance, automotive, retail, FMCG and consumer electronics.

Damien Crittenden, Managing Director, Asia said: “Clare has a unique mix of econometric modeling and consumer research acumen, with extensive media and shopper marketing experience. This aligns perfectly with the role Analytic Partners plays in helping clients understand and optimise their marketing returns through science-based analytics and consumer-relevant strategies. Her experience in digital is particularly valuable.

Clare will use her considerable experience to grow Analytics Partners’ business, particularly in the area of digital analytics, where there is increasing interest from clients. “Clare has partnered with some major companies in Australia and New Zealand, giving her valuable experience in how media activity – paid, earned and owned – can launch new brands, sustain the success of existing brands, and breathe new life to long-established brands, we are delighted to have her on board,” Crittenden said.

The Analytic Partners office in Sydney was opened in July 2012 to allow the firm to be closer to its growing Australian client base, grow and develop local talent and improve speed to market. The company’s Asia Pacific headquarters is in Singapore.
