ARN appoints legal and business affairs director

Australian Radio Network has appointed Sarah Tinsley as national legal and business affairs director.

The announcement:

Australian Radio Network (ARN) today announced the appointment of Sarah Tinsley to the position of national Legal and Business Affairs Director.

Sarah joins ARN on 23rd July and brings a wealth of experience to the role which she has acquired through previous positions as an in-house Lawyer, Company Secretary and Commercial Advisor. Sarah has expertise in the commercial, entertainment, advertising, broadcasting, online and digital industries.

Most recently, Sarah was Senior Counsel with Fairfax Media and Fairfax Radio Network, and she has also worked as General Counsel and Company Secretary for Nova Entertainment (DMG Radio).

Sarah is also a member of the Commercial Radio Australia (CRA) Legal and Regulatory and Codes Committees, and a Board member for various Digital Audio Broadcasting joint ventures.

“I am pleased to be joining ARN at such an exciting time of growth and positive momentum, and I look forward to working with the ARN team to continue building on their success into the future,” Sarah said.

Sarah will be based in ARN’s Melbourne office and will report to ARN’s COO, Michael Harvey and will also support the broader APN News & Media legal team on group matters, reporting to Yvette Lamont, Group General Counsel & Company Secretary.

ARN COO Michael Harvey said Sarah will be a valuable addition to ARN.
