At least my bosses turn up for work
There was an intriguing quote in the press release from BWM announcing the return of Abby Hunt to the agency this morning. It quotes her as saying: “BWM is the best agency I have worked at. It is innovative, challenging and always a laugh; it makes such a difference that the guys whose names are on the door are in the office every day.”
Dr Mumbo hopes this isn’t a dig at fellow Photon agency BMF.
After all Matthew Melhuish, the M of BMF, recently became Photon’s head of Australian agencies. It does seem a little ill-advised to take potshots at the new boss. So BWM must be thinking of some other agency.
I’m pretty sure that she would have been referring to agencies such as DDB, where i doubt they have many visits from Doyle Dane or Bernbach?

I’m sure that’s precisely what she meant. it was a swipe at overseas agencies whose founders are long dead. Not an ill judged swipe at other local agencies.
