Australian Grand Prix Corporation begin search for creative agency

Grand Prix logoThe Australian Grand Prix Corporation has begun a search for a “full service” creative agency to handle its advertising campaigns for the Australian Motorbike and Formula 1 Grand Prix.

It follows on from the corporation appointing Visual Identity to handle its digital account in July and the launch of its Motorcyle Grand Prix campaign, created by AJF Partnership, earlier this month.

According to the expressions of interest document, the successful agency must provide the Corporation with the “services of a full advertising agency” for the Australian Moto Grand Prix in 2015, 2016 and 2017 with the option to extend to 2019 and for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix in 2016 and 2018 with the option to extend to 2019 and 2020.

The Australian Grand Prix are looking for an agency to provide services including account management, strategic planning, campaign concept development and content production for each event.

The pitch does not extend to digital or media, with the successful agency required to work with the recently appointed digital agency and the Victorian government’s “master agency media service contractors” Mitchell & Partners and ZenithOptimedia.
