Basil faulty
Dr Mumbo of course admires the newspaper industry’s determination to embrace sustainability – and be seen to be doing so.
But his horticulturally-minded informant points out that this particular piece of propaganda looks suspiciously like a basil plant, rather than a young tree that hopes one day to be newsprint.
Ugghh… They keep making the same mistakes thyme and thyme again.

Sage words Adam. Keep ’em cumin.

Which media outlet mustard the troops to generate this industry campaign?
Still, I’m glad to see people having fun with it. There’s nothing worse than launching your ad to a chilli reception.

I thought after 10 comments there’d be at least one pun that would make me laugh. Unfortunately no pun in ten did.

Well, this has certainly garnered some attention on Mumbrella, one has to wonder if this could be intentional, so the ad – is it a plant?

I’m glad you twigged to the mistake of this seedy story and then went out on a limb to print it. it’s good to see the publication branch out into some new topics and really get to the root of a story to spice things up a little. Even this trunk-ated version shows they’re barking up the wrong tree and have lent ill to their readers. Anyway, I think we all should take a bough for having our fingers on the pulse and chipping in our kernels of opinion.
