The Big Adventure trails rivals while The Blacklist takes another audience fall
The first Monday episode of Seven’s The Big Adventure drew an audience of 662,000 metropolitan viewers, a result which saw the new franchise beaten by both Nine and the ABC in its 90-minute timeslot.
In the 7.30pm slot a new episode of Big Bang Theory drew 1.22m viewers, to be the most watched show of the night, while the ABC had 810,000 for 7.30 and 928,000 viewers tuned in for Australian Story.
The Big Adventure beat Ten’s Gold Coast Cops which had 647,000 viewers but was then beaten in the 8pm slot by Territory Cops which had 670,000 viewers.
According to Oztam metro overnight ratings, the 9.30pm showing of Seven’s The Blacklist also saw a fall in audience with an audience of 593,000 viewers, down from 604,000 last week and 915,000 viewers on its debut two weeks ago.
In the 8.30pm slot both Big Brother and Party Tricks recorded lifts in audience from last week. An audience of 702,000 viewers tuned in to watch four new contestants enter the Big Brother house on Nine, while on Ten the much hyped political drama Party Tricks drew 467,000 viewers, up from 407,000 last week. Last Monday Seven screened the final of the X Factor in that timslot.
In the news stakes Nine News pulled off a narrow with in the 6pm slot with 1.054m to 1.044 for Seven News, however in the 6.30pm Seven beat its rival with 1.012m to 997,000 viewers.
The ABC performed strongly last night with Four Corners at 8pm drawing 687,000 viewers for an investigation of the circumstances of the killing of three Australian soldiers by an Afghan soldier in Afghanistan.
The result saw the public broadcaster’s main audience share close behind Seven with 16.1 per cent to 17.6 per cent. However, Nine won the night with 20.9 per cent while Ten had a 12.1 per cent share.

I am in Malaysia now and they are showing episodes shown on the same day in the US. Revenge is shown on the same day as the US. Not the so called fast track like in Australia. Who is more advanced?
