Wren: From Frost Design to Big Brother to SCA

Stacey Wren has become the latest former Big Brother contestant to parlay her time on the show into a radio breakfast show.

The former Frost Design staffer delivered her first radio breakfast show this morning as one half of the new ‘Huw and Stacey’ show on Southern Cross Austereo’s 94.3 Star FM in south east Melbourne and 97.9 Star FM in Latrobe Valley.

Dave Cameron, Fox FM content director and head of the Today Network at Southern Cross Austereo said: “We’re very excited about Stacey joining the SCA on-air team. She shows huge potenial as the next radio star for us.”

Scott Lennox, GM of Southern Cross Austereo Gippsland added: “We’re very excited to have someone with Stacey’s profile joining the Gippsland Team.”

Cco-host Huw Joseph said: “I’m really pumped about working with Stacey she was my 5th favourite housemate on Big Brother.”

After leaving the show in November Wren, who was an account executive at Frost Design when she went into the house, told Mumbrella that every time she was summoned to the diary room she thought the show had been cancelled.

Wren was freelancing from January until she signed with Southern Cross Austereo in June.

She joins a line of Big Brother alumni making a living in breakfast radio including Nova Sydney’s Ryan Fitzgerald and SAFM’s Michael Beveridge.
