It’s that perception of what ‘theft’ means that nobody anywhere has been able to change; people just don’t see ‘unauthorised’ download as stealing, because it’s not a tangible, physical process. How do you change that effectively?
Another problem is that the industry itself has generated so many disposable products that ultimately fail to satisfy the audience’s entertainment needs, that they feel cheated. It’s those masses that the film and tv industries have to re-educate.
Extraordinary – literate people with a mental capacity to master computer skills having difficulty distinguishing between what is right & wrong?
Theft is theft & thieves are thieves – not rocket science.
