How does a campaign that cost millions that had only a couple of 100 views and pretty much zero interest in the last part of it get nominated for an award?

Amazing.

Gotta love a good ol agencies and awards shitfight!

Let's not lose sight of the good news here; which is the client got a great campaign. Everyone who contributed to that result should be proud and acknowledged for their contribution, not least the client who masterminded and managed these two specialist partners to get the best of both.

Awards should be a celebration for ALL the people involved. I think these two parties worked collaboratively and both deserve the recognition. And the client too. Well done guys... hope it wins an award in which case get the trophy copied so you can both have one on the mantle.

If I may close the chapter on this non-existing rift by saying that the cat fight image on my blog post refers to the rift that BBDO and Big Spaceship displayed so publicly at Cannes over "HBO Voyeur". The caption says "Lebovitz vs. Lubars" and in fact intended to say the Holler/BMF arrangement should be an example for the opposite.
I have nothing but respect for the creatives at BMF and their ideas. How we have worked together has been extremely rewarding.

It's always a junior that's responsible for the comments.

Can we just put that excuse away... forever.
