BMF takes lamb to the catwalk
BMF has turned to the catwalk in its latest ad for Meat & Livestock Australia’s long-running lamb campaign.
The fashion parody – “What Everyone’s Eating This Season” – features models parading the catwalk wearing lamb-themed fashion.
Glen Feist, GM of marketing at MLA, said: “Fashion and lamb are a perfect fit as they are both associated with spring — the fashion theme helps showcase lamb’s ownership of the season.”
The spoof designers include Yummi Lambaguchi, Carva Lambpattie, Cutlet Dinneragain and Valambtino.

Gee…Maybe they could have models carrying wimpering lambs being led to slaughter, or carress pigglets from a factory farm who have just been castrated without anasthesia, or have the models put newly born chicks alive into a grinder ….HUNGRY ANYONE!!

Lambs represent spring because they are the embodiment of new life, frolicking merrily in the field. Shy and trusting, bahhing for their mamma’s milk.
Stolen from their mothers and slashed mercilessly by throat, it’s just cruel death, not “spring” or “fashion”. The wool these models are wearing is only white because the blood has been washed off.
Anyone with clear eyes can see the horror. Please boycott cruelty in all forms. The killing one living being can not emphasize the beauty of another.

Oh, I see.. they aren’t actually wearing the lamb but trying to make the meat fashionable…
truthfully, no amount of sexy women carrying rotting, carcinogenic carcass of “baby spring” can make it right or edible.

Lamb is fashionable! That’s funny! Since when is eating dead carcasses attractive! You are not fooling anyone with this nonsense!

I feel sorry for the makers and models of this lamb campain…or any meat campaign! Unconscious humans trying to tell the world that killing animals is fashionable and necessary…I don’t eat them or wear them in any shape or form…it is so easily possilbe to have nothing to do with this industry……These unconscious being have blood on their hands…they may not be in the abboitoirs, but they may as well be!

It’s a little sad that people simply ‘swallow’ what they are told. I’m glad to see that some people are thinking of the baby sheep though. Imagine if they had the models actually slaughtering the lambs. Then maybe you’d have some real food for thought.

hmmm seems like the meat industry is desperate for new marketing campaigns…never seen them so desperate to sell!

It could have been funny but left me flat. I’m not sure who they are trying to target. I’m guessing most groceries are still purchased by women – probably mums – but this seems to be targetting gay men.

The meat and livestock industry is a sick and desperate industry. Those poor lambs and other fellow victims….. Open your eyes people!!
