BMF wins chunk of George Weston Foods

BMF has won a foothold on the George Weston Foods roster, claiming advertising duties on Burgen and Abbott’s Village Bakery breads.

The Enero agency won the business without a pitch. Other agencies on the George Weston Foods roster include DDB Sydney.

John Wardley, GM of marketing and innovation at George Weston Foods said: “BMF are world class agency and will be a fantastic resource for Abbotts and Burgen. I have had the opportunity to work with BMF across several different product categories, and each time they have demonstrated an ability to think strategically while delivering a creative breakthrough for the brand. Consumers notice what they do, and it sells.”

BMF’s CEO, Jeremy Nicholas added: “We’re delighted to be working with the GWF team. Abbott’s Village Bakery and Burgen are great brands with a real point of difference. They offer a powerful opportunity to deliver work that is grounded in a simple insight and executed in a way that is both populist and fresh.”
