The Bondi Hipsters take on the advertorial with Fridge Juice
The Bondi Hipsters took over Seven’s The Morning Show today to spruik their new detox plan, Fridge Juice.
Perfect if you can’t afford all the ingredients in these new fangled detox diets, the diet suggests using those juices which build up at the bottom of your salad crisper.
Featuring a brilliantly stilted advertorial intro from Dom and Adrian as well as ‘ad-libbed’ customer testimonials, they also introduce the power of Bondi bonnet berries – activated or not – as a key ingredient.
Dr Mumbo does worry the diet may have been inspired by the confession of Dom’s creator Christiaan Van Vuurren at BEfest: “I’m legitimately broker than I have been in my entire life”.
Slightly awkwardly the show then cut to a real advertorial straight afterwards.
But hey call up now you’ve got nothing to lose – except weight, and toxins.
Move over Chris Lilley, these guys rock! Loving their show Soul Mates, guest programming Rargé last week too, they’re everywhere, brilliant!
