Bottleshop uses mountain bike mishap to promote convenience of its stores

A new TV campaign has been launched by South Australian bottleshop chain SipnSave as it  looks to promote the state-wide geographical spread of its stores.

Ad agency kwp! Advertising Adelaide said it has created a “fun and compelling” ad to tell consumers that a SipnSave bottleshop is never far away.

The 15-second ad shows a mountain biker falling well short of a jump followed by the words “not even close”, unlike SipnSave.

SipnSave general manager Mike Shelley said: “It’s a fresh new approach for us that taps into current consumer behaviours and media trends and presents us as a brand that’s relevant to a contemporary audience.”

Kwp! senior writer, Corey Swaffer added: “We wanted to express this brand proposition in a fun and compelling way that’s in tune with a new generation of package liquor customers.”

The campaign is running on free to air television, catch-up TV and YouTube pre-rolls.
