Brand New Media launches Family Cook Off TV show into Singapore

Brand New Media, the branded content company, is expanding its advertiser-funded TV show format Family Cook Off into the Singapore market.  

The move follows the launch of the program on the Nine Network in Australia last year, with Coles as its major brand partner.

The latest deal will see the cooking show premier on Singapore’s Channel 5 on Tuesday nights later this year. A partnership with a major retailer yet to be announced.

The show features everyday families competing in a challenge to see who can cook the best three-course meal using the same key ingredients – as voted by the audience.

This is the first of a number of licensing deals BNM is hoping to secure in Asia.

The Australian commercial model will be replicated in Singapore which includes an eight episode TV series, website, cookbooks, live events, marketing campaign and in-store promotional activity.

Meanwhile, plans for Family Cook Off to return to Australian screens this year are currently underway.

BNM has also expanded into the US with a new office in New York.
