Budget Direct looks at home insurance with next Captain Risky ad

Budget Direct has released the next phase of its Captain Risky campaign which sees the stuntman relaxing at his ‘high risk’ home, as the insurer focusses on its home insurance products.

The spot, created by 303Lowe, features the Captain Risky character who is taking a break from crazy stunts to relax in his home, which comes complete with a number of problem areas, specifically a hot tub connected to a number of power boards.

It ends with the tagline ‘We don’t insure Captain Risky to keep prices low’.

It follows on from the first iteration of the campaign which introduces Captain Risky and sees him attempt to do a number of stunts.

The Captain Risky campaign replaced aliens Zeek and Zia.

The Ad Standards Board dismissed complaints suggesting the ads could lead to copy-cat behaviour in children last week.
