BWM’s Megan Hales promoted to national planning director

Following the departure of planning director Matt Robinson to digital start-up AnalogFolk, revealed by Mumbrella today, BWM has promoted Megan Hales to national planning director.

Hales joined BWM from The Campaign Palace in August, to a newly created role of national head of digital strategy and planning.

Her promotion sees her role expanded to cover non-traditional media as well, and across the Sydney and Melbourne offices.

Hales’ career to date includes stints at Saatchi & Saatchi in Sydney, as head of digital strategy/senior brand planner, HDM Total Communications Agency, Abbot Mead Vickers BBDO and Joshua.

James Mackay, BWM’s executive planning director, said: “Megan’s cross-platform planning insights are second to none and we believe she will be able to deliver solutions to clients that will take their campaigns to the next level. Megan has delivered fantastic results for clients to date and we know she will continue to do so in this broader role.”
