Metro Screen calls for young Indigenous producers

A new Indigenous television comedy created by a promising writer director is calling for expressions of interest from Indigenous producers early in their career to contribute to the project.

Made possible through Metro Screen’s Out There and Deadly program and funded with support by Screen NSW, they’re looking for organised, time-conscious and capable creators seeking ground floor entry into broadcast television industry.

The six part series, to be wrapped and delivered on February 6, 2012, is produced by one of Australia’s finest Indigenous producers and comes with the likelihood of a national broadcast credit.

To be eligible, submit your application, of a one page CV listing all relevant professional experience with contact details to David Opitz, Productions and Projects Manager to Metro Screen, PO Box 299 Paddington, NSW 2021 by Monday 1 August.
