City of Sydney appoints New Republique for digital work

New Republique has been appointed to develop the online brand strategy for the City of Sydney.

New Republique, the new age story tellers for the digital age, is proud to announce that the City of Sydney has engaged them to assist in the development of their online brand strategy.

City of Sydney, as Australia’s global city, contributes enormously to the country’s social, cultural, sustainable, economical and political life. The City provides services and support to a wide variety of communities, and as such, set a brief to create a sophisticated web experience that caters to the various needs of these groups in a unique and compelling way that unites them all.

Utilising unique bespoke digital brand planning tools, New Republique is working towards creating a platform that will both enhance and bring the City’s current brand heritage and future digital aspirations to life.

A City of Sydney spokesperson said, “As experts in the field of evolving brand from the physical to the digital, we were excited by what New Republique could bring to this project. We look forward to working with them and showcasing the results to our audiences later in the year.”

New Republique, which launched less than a year ago, has emerged with thinking that has clearly resonated with big brands in Australia. Including City of Sydney, the agency has secured an amazing list of clients including Coca Cola, NAB, Tourism SA, Zurich and University of Western Sydney to name a few.

Their thinking effectively merges traditional ad agency thinking and process (brand architecture and business problem solving), linking physical brands with the digital space.
