Clemenger and GPY&R announce two senior management appointments in Brisbane
Clemenger BBDO and GPY&R in Brisbane have both announced major management changes in a local game of musical chairs.
Rob Hudson has jumped ship from GPY&R to Clemenger as managing director, replacing outgoing MD Vanessa Brennan, who is joining PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Hudson joins Clemenger after six years at GPY&R, playing a key role in the creative renaissance of the agency.
Clemenger Group chairman Robert Morgan said that attracting Hudson was a big step for the agency.
“Rob is a digital leader and evangelist and will also contribute across our network to further enhance our digital capabilities,” Morgan said.
Meanwhile Y&R Group in Brisbane has named group business director Fiona Caird as general manager.
Announcing the promotion, Y&R Group regional CEO Phil McDonald, said Caird had grown to become a major asset to the agency.
“She has been instrumental in many of our new business wins and has had a major hand in our creative success in recent years.
“In fact, Fiona was the account lead on Melanoma Patients Australia’s ‘Melanoma Likes Me’ campaign which recently won the ‘Grandy for Good’ at the ANDY Awards in New York as well as five pencils last week at D&AD,” McDonald said.
