CommsCon Awards short-list revealed – Red Agency achieves most nominations

Havas Worldwide’s Red Agency has topped Mumbrella’s CommsCon Awards shortlist, with 11 short-listings across the award’s 27 categories.

Announced today, the shortlist recognises the best campaigns, businesses and individuals in public relations and the communications industry.

Ogilvy-aligned agencies including Ogilvy PR and Howorth Communications picked up 10 short-listings.

DDB Group’s Mango Communications is doing battle across five categories, while Atomic212 and its PR agency, Men at Work Communications, has been short-listed across four categories.

Sling & Stone also picked up four short-listings, as did One Green Bean.

In the Agency of the Year categories, The Cru Media + Communications, Kite Communications, F4WARD Agency, Propeller, Poem Group and Bench PR will fight it out to be named boutique or small PR agency of the year.

The mid-size PR agency of the year category will see PR Edge, N2N Communications, Klick Communications, History Will Be Kind and Sling & Stone battle it out.

The large PR Agency of the Year will pit Pulse Communications, Red Agency, Mango Communications, Cannings Purple and One Green Bean against each other.

The awards will be presented on the evening of Wednesday March 23 at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf, in Sydney. Tickets for the dinner are now on sale.
