To sit through and hour (give or take) of sponsor speeches, then have the awards belted through faster than most people could keep up shows a huge amount of disrespect to the attendees. I know sponsors need to "see the value" in their spend, but is that at the expense of the shmucks who have forked out to not only enter, but to attend?
