Cummins & Partners wins some Dulux brands including British Paints creative work

Cummins & Partners has won some of Dulux’s subsidiary paint brands, and created a new campaign for British Paints, Mumbrella understands.

Parent company Dulux had pitched creative duties for subsidiary brands British Paints, Berger and Polyfilla, with the Melbourne-based full service agency picking up the duties.

It has already produced its first work for British Paints, a 15-second TVC which appeared over the weekend.

A spokesperson for Dulux confirmed to Mumbrella the work had been done by Cummins & Partners, but did not respond to further requests for comment. Clemenger BBDO Melbourne is the lead agency on the Dulux brand.

The iconic British Paints brand famously used disgraced entertainer Rolf Harris as its brand ambassador for many years, although it moved away from him for its last campaign released last September.

According to marketing intelligence guide The Source Cummins & Partners has also picked up duties for Dulux brand Berger and Poly. Leo Burnett Melbourne had previously held duties for British Paints.

The agency declined to comment when contacted by Mumbrella.
