David Jones, Colgate and Blackmores are first-time sponsors of Australia’s Next Top Model

Multi Channel Network has unveiled Telstra, Tresemme, Ford, David Jones, Colgate and Blackmores as sponsors for Fox 8′s Australia’s Next Top Model.

The list sees last year’s sponsors U by Kotex, Impulse and Nivea Visage make way for first-time supporters David Jones, Colgate and Blackmores.

Sarah Murdoch will again host the show, which is produced by Shine Australia. Last year’s series was marred by the wrong winner being announced during the final show live.

This year, sponsors are to be offered ‘industry best’ contextual brand and product immersion within the body of the editorial and across the show’s website and mobile site, a press release claimed.

Sponsors will also get access to sponsorship assets including tailored content creation, access to cast for commercial extensions, bespoke product creation, point of sale licensing, retail promotions and consumer competitions.

MCN’s strategic integration director Elizabeth Minogue said: “This season, one of our sponsors is capitalising on the opportunity to extend their reach to consumers, communicating to them while they’re in stores and buying their products.”

  2. Talk in the halls is that the program quality has dropped sharply from previous years, hope those exciting new sponsors aren’t left holding a very expensive baby.

  4. Thanks to the ‘wrong winner’ fiasco, the first few episodes will be a ratings bonanza, regardless of how good the rest of the series is.
