Digital agency Lash Creative picks up Nong Shim account as brand looks to raise profile
Digital agency Lash Creative has been handed the marketing duties for South Korea-based FMCG brand Nong Shim as it looks to raise its profile in Australia.
The company, a processed food manufacturer which specialises in instant noodles, is a household name in Asia but is relatively unknown in Australia despite distributing products through Coles and Woolworths.
The majority of sales are believed to be from Asian customers.
Lash Creative already has an office in the South Korean capital Seoul and its managing director, James Chung, is Korean.
he said. “While it’s not well known in Australia it’s a massive household name in Asia. We will be focusing on spreading the word about how tasty these products are.”
Lash Creative will primarily be working on the Shin Ramyun Noodle brand, with digital activity expected to continue for the rest of the year.
I think they desperately need to “raise the profile” of that brand. I’ve never heard of it!

I am a whitey and I LOVE these noodles. They are the crack of the instant noodle world. Spicy delish.
