Don’t make your car wear a daggy yellow plate new myPlates campaign suggests

Custom Creative has launched a new campaign for myPlates featuring cars dreaming of having a fancier number plate.

Steve Schenko, creative director of Custom Creative said: “Historically, the focus has been on what a number plate ‘says’ rather than what it looks like. We wanted to challenge that, and ask people to think about the aesthetics of their plates. While NSW law says your vehicle has to have one, it doesn’t say it has to be yellow. Making a nice car wear a standard yellow plate is a bit like asking someone to wear daggy clothes.”

The campaign, which launches the new art range, includes three 30 second TVCs supported by seven 30 second radio spots.
