Connect Hearing says ‘We’re All Ears’ in social media campaign

An ad featuring people lip synching the words to Betty Hutton’s ‘It’s Oh So Quiet’ has kicked off a social media campaign for hearing specialists Connect Hearing.

The ‘We’re All Ears’ campaign developed by Sydney social media  agency We Are Social launched during national Hearing Awareness Week this week to build an online community for the network of healthcare hearing centres.

Facebook and Twitter pages are being used to start conversations about hearing loss and drive users to the ‘We’re All Ears’ website, which aims to both inform and entertain with a mix of content stimulating relevant discussions.

The campaign will also invite users to participate in a one hour live chat, ‘Open Ear’, when they can put their questions to an expert, and to subscribe to Connect Hearing’s monthly email newsletter.

Duncan Armour, group manager of marketing at Connect Hearing said: “Social media is another means to communicate with our clients and show them we’re not only experts in our field, but also accessible, approachable and willing to listen. By connecting with people via social media we will banish many misconceptions about hearing problems and engage the community in intelligent discussion.”
