Eddie McGuire’s Millionnaire Hot Seat well behind Deal Or No Deal

Eddie McGuire’s return to Nine’s Millionnaire hot seat was less than stellar, coming in well behind Seven’s Deal Or No Deal.

The 5.30pm debut of Who Wants To be A Millionaire: Hot Seat pulled in an audience of just 600,000, according to preliminary OzTam TV ratings. Over on Seven, Deal Or No Deal delivered nearly 800,000.

  2. Seemed a bit like a dumbed down version of Millionaire. Only watched for about 10 though

  4. Can’t help but think the game show battle for the 5:30pm slot epitomises FTA’s sheer desperation in the face of declining audiences.

Oh, and if I see another cross-promo segment on ACA, I’m gonna puke.

  6. How about a new idea Channel 9? Watching 7 and 9 is like watching attack of the clones.

  8. It seemed to me that this Hot Seat was a very cold seat. It seemed like it was all done before. Now, how can that be?

Maybe 9 should consider that the viewing audience are not dumb, brain-dead creatures.

And, I will co-puke with Scott Pettet re any more cross promos on ACA!
