Entries open for CommsCon Awards 2016 with new categories for influencers and collaboration

Influencer strategy and collaboration are the two new categories added to the 2016 CommsCon Awards.

Entries are now open for the premier awards celebrating the best in the communications, public relations and social media industry which recognised the best work from teams, agencies and individuals.

Now in its fourth year, there are categories that recognise the importance of PR leadership and new talent along with Australasia’s best in-house and agency PR professionals.

The CommsCon Awards will also seek to recognise the best PR employer in the industry as well as the best boutique or small agency, the best midsize PR agency and the best large PR agency.

CAMPAIGN CATEGORIES

  • Best social media or digitally-led campaign
  • Best B2C campaign
  • Best B2B campaign
  • Best work by a small team or small agency
  • Best use of owned media
  • Best internal communications or change management
  • Best Issues management
  • Launch or relaunch campaign of the year
  • PR-led event or activation of the year
  • Best government relations campaign
  • Best government sponsored campaign
  • Best investor or community relations campaign
  • Corporate social responsibility
  • Pro bono campaign of the year
  • Best influencer strategy
  • The Collaborator’s Award

PEOPLE CATEGORIES

  • Best new PR talent of the year
  • PR professional of the year – inhouse
  • PR professional of the year – agency
  • PR Leader of the year
  • Social media community manager of the year

BUSINESS CATEGORIES

  • Best use of research / insights
  • Best PR employer
  • Best PR team of the year – inhouse
  • Boutique or small PR agency of the year
  • Midsize PR agency of the year
  • Large PR agency of the year

The closing date for award entries is Friday January 15 with a late entries date of January 22. For more details on categories and to enter visit the CommsCon Awards website.

The awards are part of the CommsCon conference taking place on March 23 in Sydney.
