Ergon Energy’s Grim Llama warns construction workers of dangers of overhead power lines

Ergon Energy’s grim llama, who represents death, has returned to screens in a new spot warning construction workers around the dangers of overhead power lines.

Created by Clemenger BBDO Brisbane, the “Grim Llama” campaign launched in September last year with the llama used to encourage people to think about their safety when working with electricity.

The latest spot sees the llama reminding a construction worker operating a large earth digger of the danger of overhead power lines, and ends with the “think ahead a bit” tagline.

Ergon Energy has also released a two-minute video providing the backstory to the “grim llama” which sees his owners talk about the first time the llama warned them about the dangers of tinkering with electricity.

The grim llama is set to appear in a number of DIY videos from next month.
