Fashion website The Iconic launches new website

The Iconic has relaunched its website as a “mobile-first” destination.

The release:

Australia’s leading online fashion retailer, THE ICONIC, has today revealed a new fully-responsive website to significantly enhance its customers’ online shopping experience, furthering THE ICONIC’s position as Australia’s defining fashion destination. THE ICONIC receives over 3m visitors per month, making it Australia’s most visited fashion website.

The new website features one of the fastest load times in the market of under 2 seconds and has been developed mobile-first by THE ICONIC’s Sydney team of engineers. This mobile-first responsive design is a response to the fast growth of m-commerce in Australia; today up to 50% of THE ICONIC’s customers shop on a mobile phone or tablet.

THE ICONIC brand has also received a new look, centered on the positioning “For the new icons of fashion” and supported by a comprehensive, multi-channel national advertising campaign launched 18 May. The campaign is led by a striking, fashion forward TVC featuring model and muse Annabel Moore and exclusive backing track by up and coming Melbourne duo ALTA.

“Made by fashion lovers, for fashion lovers, the new and improved website reflects THE ICONIC’s ongoing commitment to innovation & customer experience. Designed and built by our in-house team at THE ICONIC HQ in Sydney, our new responsive website delivers the content and functionality our customers value across all devices and screen sizes,” Patrick Schmidt, CEO of THE ICONIC said.

“Recently we have added many top local and international brands to our website, including River Island, Ted Baker, and Dorothy Perkins. We are constantly striving to be Australia’s defining fashion destination – delivering countless looks fast, and inspiring our customers to be refreshed, renewed and excited by their latest expression of self.”
