Fiery hipsters and marketing misfires for Masterchef
The inevitable barrage of Masterchef teaser trailers have started to trickle out, and it looks like Channel Ten’s publicists are firmly targeting the media and marketing community with their first batch.
For starters there is Ricoh marketer Fiona Grindlay, who appears to have forgotten the golden rule of know your audience by serving up haggis to judge and known haggis hater Matt Preston:
And then there’s the hipster Jarrod Trigg, who while not working in the ad industry should appeal to all wannabe bearded chefs, if he recovers from making a particularly spicy curry.
Ten is still being coy as to when the new series of Masterchef will air.
Yawn. Kill it, kill it now.

Did you write this just to mention “Ricoh marketer Fiona Grindlay”. I scrolled down to find the second half of the article, the part with substance and insight, but it wasn’t there. But hey “Ricoh marketer Fiona Grindlay” you got your name mentioned on Mumbrella.

Yeah, masterful the way that looking like a hipster made Jarrod also “fimly target media and marketing comminity”.

Nothing like sitting down in an eatery to see the chef/cook/food artiste adorned with a collection of free-flowing whiskers. I then start pondering how much of that hair will be part of my meal.
If you are cooking or doing prep work get rid of the facial hair or at least wear a beard net.
