Final Droga5 Sydney campaign launches as Tiger brand travels to Marcel with David Nobay

Just weeks after Droga5 closed its doors in Sydney the agency has launched its final piece work, a campaign for Tiger Beer in Singapore.

The new campaign, shot at the end of last year, continues the ‘Uncaged’ creativity theme developed by the agency with the launch of Tiger’s Wheat Beer in Malaysia calling for film ideas to be submitted on beer coasters.

The competition has been aimed at getting film makers to tell a truly Malaysian story.

Droga5 Sydney won the Heineken-owned brand in 2013, what was to be to first stage of a push into Asia and the agency continued to act as the lead on the account even as the Sydney operation struck trouble leading to the announcement of its closure last year.

It debuted the work in 2014 with an ambitious push to highlight the creative potential of Singapore and Southeast Asia using a number of local influencers in areas such as tattooing and stunt work.

Droga5 Sydney founder David Nobay will bring the business with him when he launches an Australian outpost of Publicis creative brand Marcel in Sydney later this month.
