Fleet Review Spectacular tops Saturday’s TV ratings

The ABC topped Saturday’s viewing thanks to its coverage of The Fleet Review in Sydney.

The event to mark the 100th anniversary of the Australian Navy culminated in a firework spectacular in the harbour masterminded by experiential agency Imagination.

The Fleet Review Spectacular  drew 1.433m metro TV viewers, according to ratings from OzTAM. The next biggest show on Saturday was New Tricks, also on ABC1, according to ratings from OzTAM.

Nine’s best performer was Nine News with 1.024m viewers, while Seven News had 945,000 viewers. Ten’s best rating program was Ten Eyewitness News with 406,000 viewers.

Across the five city metro, ABC1 had a share of 24.6 per cent, ahead of Nine’s 17.6 per cent and Seven’s 14.9 per cent. Ten was down on 8.9 per cent.

Across the Sunday-to-Saturday ratings week, Seven won with a share of 24.4 per cent, ahead of Nine’s 18.7 per cent. Next came ABC1 on 14.7 per cent, while Ten was on just 10.8 per cent, only a slight improvement on last week’s 10.1 per cent.
