Foxtel hires Bruce Meagher from SBS as director of corporate affairs

SBS director, strategy and communications Bruce Meagher is to replace Adam Suckling as Foxtel’s director of corporate affairs after a six-year stint with the public broadcaster.
Suckling joined News Limited last month as director of policy, corporate affairs and community relations.
Replacing Meagher at SBS is Peter Khalil, who joins from a role as associate at government relations and public affairs company Hawker Britton.
SBS MD Michael Ebeid said: “I thank Bruce [Meagher] for his service to SBS over the past six years. His work in helping shape the direction of SBS as it delivers on its Charter has been second to none. I have enjoyed working with Bruce and thank him for his support over the last nine months since I joined SBS.”
He added: “Peter will bring to SBS a diverse combination of extensive professional experience in strategic planning and communications and personal skills that will help grow the organisation in a changing media landscape.”
