Go Daddy launches combined small business platform and advice tool

Website hosting platform Go Daddy has launched Websites and Marketing, a combined platform for business owners, and business advice tool Go Daddy Insight.

Websites and Marketing will provide a variety of marketing tools designed to help small businesses partake in customer research and generate growth, alongside a simple website builder.

Go Daddy has launched two new products to help small business owners

Websites and Marketing will include a new tool that enables users to preview their sites in more than 20 different styles without having to build each preview from scratch. It will also sync with Facebook, Instagram and Google My Business to help business owners respond to customer reviews. SEO and email marketing tools will also be available.

Go Daddy Insight will provide advice to small business owners, based on anonymised data gathered from millions of websites. Insight will build an action plan for the user, to assist them in identifying new customers and engaging with existing ones.

Websites and Marketing has already launched in the US and, according to Go Daddy, its users found that they experienced an 18% increase in revenue and 23% increase in customers.

Jill Schoolenberg, Go Daddy senior vice president for Canada, Australia and Latin America, said: “As we’ve talked with Australian entrepreneurs and small business owners, they share how stressful it is figuring out how to get started online. Go Daddy Websites and Marketing combines the power of a professional website with the marketing reach of the world’s largest platforms to help ensure entrepreneurs are successful.”

“We want to take the guesswork out of the process so that customers can run their business. Just as the needs of small businesses evolve regularly, so do their requirements for their online presence. We built GoDaddy Insight to guide our customers with personalised action plans which provide real results for their business.”
