Gogglebox tops the demos as Nine’s RBT most-watched non-news show of the night

RBTA quiet evening in TV saw Nine’s RBT pull in 815,000 metro viewers at 7.30pm to be the most-watched non-news program while Ten’s Gogglebox was the most-watched show across the key advertising demographics.

News shows dominated the top five for the evening, with Seven News at 6pm watched by 962,000, dipping to 930,000 at 6.30pm. Nine News at 6pm pulled in 903,000, growing to 924,000 from 6.30pm and A Current Affair, at 7pm, was watched by 875,000.

Nine tied with Seven on 18.2 per cent share however won the night with a total network audience share of 28 per cent to Seven’s 26.9 per cent. Ten came in next with a share of 14.8 per cent while the ABC managed a share of 11 per cent.

Seven’s second episode of RBT at 8pm was watched by 746,000 while Home and Away, which aired from 7 to 8pm, was watched by 725,000.

Seven’s Surveillance Oz: Dashcam at 8pm was watched by 584,000.

On Ten, Jamie’s Superfood, at 7.30pm, was watched by 532,000, down on last week’s audience of 629,000, while Gogglebox at 8.30pm pulled in 631,000 metro viewers.

Nine’s panel chat show The Verdict, which went up against Gogglebox in the 8.30pm timeslot, only pulled in 465,000.

On the ABC, 7.30 was watched by 602,000 and The Chaser’s Media Circus (8pm) grabbed 482,000 viewers.
